GAME EXPERIENCE

Artist (Intern)

- Created over fifty environment models, UV unwraps, and textures
- Influenced the game asset pipeline process by organizing existing database of art assets and establishing file naming conventions
- Provided rendered thumbnails of each environment object to go into the company's Wiki database
- Researched and started Wiki pages focusing on the topics of game localization
- Demonstrated series of unique games of various genre in part of technical and gameplay research


The Fiona Project (Half Life 2 Project)
September - December 2006
Art Lead (Faculty appointed)
15 person team (three artists, six level designers, and six programmers)

- Concept designed, modeled, unwrapped, textured, and animated one of the main player characters
- Hired game musicians and actors for the game
- Performed motion capturing of 50+ animations
- Worked closely with a programmer on pipeline process for importing character and art assets models and animations into Source engine
- Created the art bible containing the art direction, conceptual design, and storyboard of the game
- Performed project management for the team by assigning milestones for each artist


Great Winter (Unreal Tournament 2004 Project)
January - March 2006
11 person team (three artists, four level designers, and four programmers)

- Provided conceptual design, model, UV unwrap, texture, and six animations of one character
- Provided a model, UV unwrap, texture, and two animation of a main weapon
- Provided a model, UV unwrap, texture of four static meshes
- Created shader textures for explosion effects


Bob the Unlikely (2D Development Kit Project)
July - September 2005
2 person team (one artist and one level designer)

- Featured in Winter Exhibit 2005 as one of the 2D game finalists
- Created six splash screens, three characters, HUD, and menus
- Delivered Jumping, Walking, Shooting, Flying, Dying, and Punching animation sequences
